Jimmy Straughan leads the development and execution of long-term off-take agreements for Clean Hydrogen Works' (CHW) clean energy projects, drawing on nearly 40 years of experience at BP.
At BP, Jimmy held senior roles, including Chief Commercial Officer for LNG Americas and Head of LNG Origination for the Atlantic Basin. He played a key role in developing and executing major LNG contracts, contributing significantly to BP’s global success in the LNG sector. Jimmy was also a key figure in expanding BP’s market presence, serving as the Chair of the Center for LNG, where he advanced industry standards and helped promote growth in the LNG market.
Jimmy holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
