Dwayne Thomas oversees community relations at Clean Hydrogen Works (CHW), ensuring strong relationships with local stakeholders and managing community activities, communications, and event planning. He brings over 16 years of operational and supervisory experience in the energy sector, including leadership roles at Shell Oil Refinery and the East Baton Rouge Parish Probation Division.
At Shell Oil Refinery, Dwayne gained extensive experience in operations, training, and personnel supervision, contributing to the refinery’s safe and efficient performance. Prior to joining CHW, he served as Deputy Chief of Probation for the East Baton Rouge Parish, where he managed office operations and supervised a team of professionals, bringing strategic leadership to community-focused initiatives.
Dwayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal and Social Justice from Grambling State University and a Master’s in Administration and Supervision from Southern University. He is an active member of the Louisiana Shriners and the Prince Hall Masonic Organization, holding leadership roles in Ma'Mun Temple #249 and Widow Son Lodge No. 10.
