Changping Shao is responsible for global partnerships at Clean Hydrogen Works (CHW), focusing on ammonia offtake and equity partnerships across Asia-Pacific, drawing on over 20 years of experience in oil and gas industry. Before joining CHW, Changping worked with Sinopec and Rockies LNG. In recent years, he has also served as an advisor to several leading pipeline and LNG companies, contributing to a range of high-profile mega projects.
At Sinopec, Changping was Director of LNG, overseeing over $10 billion in equity investments and offtake contracts for major LNG projects, including Australia Pacific LNG and Pacific Northwest LNG. He also served as Senior Vice President of LNG Marketing at Rockies LNG, where he led business development and strategic partnerships in the energy sector. Changping played a key role in expanding Sinopec’s LNG portfolio and establishing long-term partnerships in the clean energy space.
Changping holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Renmin University of China.
