Manuel has over 43 years of experience in executive management, operations, and project execution within the oil, gas, and chemical industries. He has managed business units at Fluor, Bechtel, and Jacobs, and has also consulted for McKinsey on mega projects and transformation initiatives for EPC firms.
At Clean Hydrogen Works, Manuel is dedicated to achieving excellence in project execution, ensuring that potential issues are identified early to successfully deliver the ACE project.
Manuel retired from Jacobs in November 2018, where he managed the Energy & Chemicals Business Unit in the Americas and oversaw large mega projects globally. During his time at Jacobs, he led the transformation of the Energy & Chemicals Division with McKinsey and played a key role in the due diligence and acquisition of CH2M, as well as the subsequent sale of Jacobs' Energy & Chemicals division to Worley. At Bechtel, Manuel was responsible for all downstream mega projects worldwide, and at Fluor, he led the downstream business unit, making it the largest and most profitable division at the company.
