Jimmy Straughan brings 38 years of global experience in the energy sector, specializing in refining, trading, marketing and business development. As a Senior Advisor for Offtake at Clean Hydrogen Works, Jimmy plays a key role in negotiating and securing offtake agreements.
Before joining CHW, Jimmy held numerous leadership roles at BP, where he most recently served as Chief Commercial Officer for LNG Americas and Head of LNG Origination for the Atlantic Basin. His expertise in LNG trading and origination positioned him as a leading figure in the industry, and he has a proven track record in developing and managing complex commercial agreements. Jimmy also served as Chair for the Center of LNG.
Jimmy holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
