Currently, Jie also serves as a Managing Director at 5P Capital Management, where he focuses on value-oriented investments. His previous roles include Principal at WL Ross & Co., where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments in sectors such as energy, chemicals, shipping, and steel. Earlier in his career, Jie worked at hedge fund Fore Research & Management, focusing on credit investments.
Jie holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an M.S. in Economics, and a B.S. in Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Jie is also a CFA charterholder.Back to the team
