Xiong has over 15 years of experience in strategy, project finance, and investments in the energy transition sector. Prior to CHW, Xiong was the Director for Strategic Projects at Northwest Innovation Works, Kalama. Xiong worked on project financing for Solar PV projects in India as the VP for an affiliate of ACME Solar India, and as Senior Investment Analyst at the National University of Singapore (NUS) endowment fund (~$10 billion AUM) where he covered private equity investments and was responsible for developing the investment strategy for the natural resources asset class, including both traditional and decarbonized energy investments.
Xiong has been with CHW since its inception in early 2021 and is responsible for strategy, partnership development, financial planning and modelling activities.
Xiong holds an MSc in Real Estate and a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from NUS, where he graduated at the top of both classes. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
