Hsien Xiong Wong (Xiong) leads strategic planning at Clean Hydrogen Works (CHW), driving commercial strategy development, financial modeling, and partnership development for the company’s clean energy projects. With over 15 years of experience in project development and investment, he has held key roles at Northwest Innovation Works (NWIW), ACME Solar, and the National University of Singapore (NUS).

At NWIW, Xiong played a pivotal role in advancing the $2.5 billion Kalama methanol project. Prior to that, he served as Vice President at an affiliate of ACME Solar India, where he worked on project financing for large-scale solar PV developments. Earlier in his career, he was an investment professional at NUS’s $10 billion endowment fund, overseeing strategy development and investment recommendations for the natural resources asset class, including both traditional and clean energy sectors. His expertise in financial strategy, project management, and energy sector investments has been instrumental in CHW’s growth.

Xiong graduated top of his class from NUS with a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Real Estate. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
