Changping has over 20 years of experience in marketing, business development, M&A, and equity investment within the oil and gas industry.
At Clean Hydrogen Works, Changping is responsible for clean ammonia off-take and equity partnerships, with a primary focus on the APAC region. Prior to joining Clean Hydrogen Works, he served as a senior advisor for several North American midstream companies, focusing on gas-to-methanol, LNG, and clean ammonia business development since mid-2020. Changping was the Senior Vice President of LNG Marketing at Rockies LNG from February 2019 to June 2020, and before that, he served as Director of LNG at Sinopec from July 2004 to December 2018. Throughout his career, Changping has led multiple mega-transactions, including an equity investment exceeding $6 billion and an off-take agreement for 7.6 MTPA with Australia Pacific LNG, as well as a similar transaction with Pacific Northwest LNG.
Changping holds an MA in Economics from Renmin University of China (2001) and is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
