Atle Knutsen has over 50 years of experience in the shipping, terminal, and logistics industries. As a Senior Strategic Advisor at Clean Hydrogen Works, he is responsible for introducing and negotiating agreements with international companies that can serve as complementary and strategic partners in product off-take, equity partnerships, and logistics services for CHW's ACE Project.
Prior to joining CHW, Atle spent a 43-year career at Odfjell SE Company, holding various management positions in shipping, terminal, and logistics operations. He served as Senior Vice President of Odfjell Tankers and President of Odfjell Terminals, where he developed business strategies and managed overseas offices, significantly contributing to the company's global expansion. After retiring from Odfjell, Atle consulted for several international companies in chemical shipping, logistics, technology, and industry, leveraging his extensive experience to support their strategic growth.
Atle holds a degree in Administration and Shipping from Rogaland Distriktshøgskole (now the University of Stavanger) and has completed management courses at INSEAD.
